Why should I run in the Chicago Marathon as apposed to a smaller one?

The Chicago Marathon costs more than twice as much as the marathons in South Bend and Rockford. What is the benefit of running in the Chicago Marathon?|||More motivation, a LOT more people to help you get through. I know my cousin did it and she said people are always there to cheer you on while running. Two runners will be at a low point and they join up, meet, and end up finishing the marathon 2gether. I'm not sure about the other marathons, but chicago is very flat!|||If your trying to qualify for the NY or BOSTON or another big race run in the CHICAGO,if it doesn't mater run in another race|||because it's in chicago. god is love. rev run.
